18 cyclists from the Lloyd's Cycling Club rode from the Lloyd's building in the City of London to Monte Carlo. We started on the 3rd September and arrived on 11th September 2011.
The Club would like to thank Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, Navigators, Swiss Re, Guy Carpenter, ANV, Novae, Lockton and Catlin for their support.
Our route covered over 950 miles and we ended up climbing more than 50,000ft over some of the iconic Tour de France Cols such as Alpe d'Huez and Galibier. We also climbed Col de Vars, Col d'Izoard and Col de La Bonette.
